Concert-Lancement : Flûte passion : Bach

February 12th, 2020  7:30pm

Cirque Éloize, Montreal

Nadia Labrie, Luc Beauséjour and Camille Paquette-Roy

This latest edition of the Flûte Passion series presents a fresh approach to Bach’s most beautiful works for the flute. The originality of our approach is reflected in both the interpretation and our instruments—a modern transverse flute made of wood, a modern cello with a Baroque bow, and the harpsichord part played on piano (and even playing a flute part in the Trio Sonata BWV 1039). We present this original and very personal performance of Bach’s works with a deference to Baroque conventions, a love for the music, and the joy of playing it together.

In collaboration with the Festival Classica, Jacques Marchand and the Cirque Éloize.

Cirque Éloize, 417 rue Berri, Montréal
